Medical Training and Study
If you are student training in the medical professions, there is a lot to learn before you take your finals and state's exam. The given curriculum at the school you attend will show you what you need to know, but it is up to you to retain this information. The computer and the Internet have become a valuable resource and learning tool for medical student's. There are many websites that will allow you to create self made practice tests, flash cards, and many other fun games. Some games can have the information you want to remember incorporated into them. Sometimes playing games that pertain to a student's medical studies can help them better remember and understand foreign sounding words and new medical information because it is fun and a challenge to learn. It is also very helpful to identify how a student learns the best in their own individual way to get the full benefit of their studies.

Everyone learns and is able to remember information in different ways. These different ways of learning are sometimes are called learning styles. Which means that some people tend to remember information better when they see the facts visually. This may be through illustrations, videos, hand-outs, flash cards, and seeing a person explain a subject.
Audio Learning:
This is when a person tends to learn better when they hear the information they are trying to retain. This means listening to verbal lectures and having disscussions on the subject being learned has the highest benifit for this type of learner.
Tactile Learning:
This is known as hands-on learning and is most benificial to people who learn best through doing "hands-on" work and learning at the same time. This means exploring the physical surroundings that have to do with the subject being learned and becoming actively engaged with objects having to do with the subject while learning about it.
